All Servers

What Can You Run?

A dedicated server gives you the complete physical machine. You can use it for one large workload or divide it between several services without competing with unrelated customers for processor time, memory or local storage.

Game Servers

Run several game servers, their control panels and supporting services on one machine. High-clock-speed processors are available for games that depend heavily on individual cores.

Websites and E-commerce

Give a busy website or online shop its own processor, memory and local storage. Keep the application, database and background jobs together or separate them using virtual machines.

Databases

Use reserved memory and fast local storage for production databases, caches and application services. You decide which parts remain private and which are exposed to other systems.

Virtualisation

Install your preferred hypervisor and divide the machine into isolated virtual machines or containers for customers, applications, development environments or internal services.

Voice Servers

Run TeamSpeak, bots, control panels and community websites together without squeezing them into unrelated hosting products.

Custom Software

Install the operating system, control panel and software the project actually needs. Root and IPMI access leave you in control from boot onwards.

Software platform

Choose Your Server Platform

Use the server as a virtualisation host or install the operating system that suits the software you plan to run. Choose from common Linux distributions, Windows Server and control panels including cPanel, Plesk, Pterodactyl and TCAdmin. If you need a compatible platform that is not listed, ask us before ordering.

Ubuntu
Ubuntu

A familiar choice for web servers, containers, Node.js, PHP and general Linux hosting.

Debian
Debian

A stable Linux option for services you plan to keep running for a long time.

AlmaLinux
AlmaLinux

A RHEL-compatible distribution commonly used with cPanel and other hosting software.

Rocky Linux
Rocky Linux

Another RHEL-compatible choice for web hosting, databases and general server use.

Oracle Linux
Oracle Linux

Oracle’s RHEL-compatible Linux distribution.

NixOS
NixOS

A declarative Linux distribution for repeatable server configurations.

Fedora
Fedora

A current Linux distribution for web services, containers and development workloads.

Managed or self-managed?

Choose whether you want to manage the server yourself or have us look after an agreed software setup.

Both options include the physical server, power, network connection and DDoS protection. The difference is who handles the operating system and services running on it.

Managed support is agreed before the server goes live, so you know exactly what we cover. If you would rather keep complete control, choose self-managed.

Self-managed

You manage the operating system, software and day-to-day administration. We continue to cover the physical server and network.

Physical server and network

Hardware faults, power and connectivity remain covered.

Root and console access

You have full control from installation onwards.

DDoS Protection

Network-level protection is included.

Operating system management

You install, secure and update the software.

Monitoring and backups

You arrange these unless they are ordered separately.

Managed

We manage an agreed operating system, control panel and set of services. The exact scope is confirmed with you before setup.

Physical server and network

Hardware faults, power and connectivity remain covered.

Agreed software setup

We confirm the operating system, control panel and services.

Routine administration

Updates and day-to-day work can be included within the agreed scope.

Monitoring and investigation

These can be included for the services we agree to cover.

Outside the agreed scope

Other software remains self-managed or can be quoted separately.

Why Choose Us?

Dedicated server hosting depends on more than the processor inside the chassis. The network, remote access, protection and support around the machine matter just as much when the server is carrying live services.

Experienced Technical Support

Speak to people who work with dedicated hardware, operating systems, virtualisation and hosting platforms every day. When something goes wrong, you are not explaining the basics to a generic call centre.

DDoS Protection

Automated protection is included with every dedicated server. Attacks can be filtered before they overwhelm the server connection and interrupt the services running on it.

Network Under Our Control

We operate the network carrying traffic to and from our server locations. That gives us direct visibility into routing, capacity and connectivity faults.

Remote Console Access

Use IPMI or the available remote console to reinstall the operating system, inspect boot failures and recover the server without waiting for local access.

Flexible Hardware

Choose from ready-to-order systems or ask about different processors, memory, storage and connectivity. Multi-server configurations can be planned around the workload.

Managed Support Available

Keep full control with a self-managed server or agree a defined administration scope. The covered operating system and services are set out before management begins.

Choose the Right Hardware

Start with what the server needs to run, then balance processor performance, memory and storage around that workload. The right specification depends on how the software uses the machine.

Start With the Workload

List the software, expected users and the jobs the server must handle at the same time. That gives us a useful starting point instead of choosing hardware by model number alone.

Choose the Processor

Prioritise clock speed for heavily single-threaded software or additional cores for parallel workloads, virtual machines and services running together.

Size the Memory

Allow enough RAM for the operating system, active services, caching and realistic growth. Virtualisation and databases often benefit from more headroom.

Plan the Storage

Choose SSD or NVMe capacity, disk layout and redundancy around how the server reads and writes data. Fast storage matters most when the workload can use it.

Custom hardware

Custom Dedicated Server Builds

A standard configuration is the quickest route to dedicated hardware, but some workloads need something more specific. We can quote a server around the processor, memory, storage and connectivity you actually need.

Choose high-clock-speed AMD Ryzen, multi-core Intel Xeon Scalable or AMD EPYC hardware, then size the memory and storage around the job. Depending on the platform and location, we can provide larger SSD or NVMe drives, RAID, additional IP addresses and higher-capacity network connections.

We can also plan systems that span several physical servers. Applications, databases, game servers and storage can be separated where that gives you better performance, resilience or room to grow.

Tell us what you need to run, where its users are based and any preferred hardware. We will check current availability and recommend a practical configuration instead of forcing the project onto the nearest listed plan.

Dedicated Server Locations

Explore our locations and compare the connection from where you are. Each location page contains local server availability, network information and additional testing tools.

Our network

Dedicated Connectivity Up to 100Gbps

Most dedicated server builds are available with a 1Gbps or 10Gbps connection. If your workload needs more capacity, connections of up to 100Gbps are available on request, depending on the server and location.

We operate our own network, which gives us more flexibility when arranging bandwidth, additional IP addresses and private connectivity between multiple servers. Tell us what the server will be carrying and we can include the network requirements when planning the build.

Use the ping map above to compare latency across our server locations. For a more detailed connection test, visit the relevant location page and download one of its speed-test files.

Network

Under our control

We manage the network carrying traffic to and from our server locations.

Connectivity

Options to fit

Available connections and traffic allowances are shown with each server configuration.

Addressing

IPv4 and IPv6

Additional addresses can be discussed where the location and intended use support them.

Private networking

Connect several servers

Private connectivity can be provided for suitable multi-server systems.
