Update 1.28 (July 1, 2025) brought significant changes to the game, including a full server wipe, new weapons (RAK-37 & R12 shotgun), crash-site events, and improved network/vehicle behavior. Console players received build 1.79 with UI, audio, and weapon sync improvements. Looking ahead, the Badlands DLC is set for a 2026 release, introducing a large-scale Middle Eastern map (267×267 km) with new environments and gear.
