What is ARK Aquatica DLC?
ARK: Aquatica is the special 10-year anniversary DLC for ARK: Survival Evolved, introducing a completely submerged ARK with new mechanics and survival challenges. Waking up on Aquatica, survivors are thrust into exotic challenges never before encountered: extreme environmental hazards, crushing pressures, rapid currents, and a host of extraordinary creatures await within the mysterious depths.
This underwater world features five expansive biomes to explore, from a family-friendly starting area to more challenging depths. Each biome offers unique challenges, resources, and creatures to discover. The malfunctioning ARK systems have transformed the environment into a vast, aquatic labyrinth waiting to be explored.
Aquatica introduces 21 new creatures with extraordinary abilities that have adapted to underwater life. Traverse the depths on the mystical Monodon, fend off hostile threats with the protective Mudpuppy, and encounter mutated variants of familiar dinos, reimagined for life beneath the waves. Become skilled at taming these aquatic beasts to help you survive in this challenging environment.
With 74 new Engrams, survivors gain access to specialised gear designed for underwater survival. Use Lead Boots to walk along the ocean floor, adapt land-dwelling creatures with mutations for underwater breathing, and construct innovative TEK Air Pockets for submerged bases. Additionally, discover 10 new cooking recipes tailored to the aquatic ecosystem.
Aquatica is the first official DLC to tell a non-canonical mythical story, where survivors will uncover the potential source of Element and face terrifying forces lurking in the abyss. Encounter two brand-new characters and immerse yourself in a narrative that bridges multiple ARKs, expanding the lore of ARK: Survival Evolved like never before.
