What is Factorio: Space Age?
Along side Factorio: Space Age... The long-awaited Factorio 2.0 update has been released!
The factory has grown, but this it is only the beginning. Time to launch into space and discover new worlds with unique challenges, advanced technologies, and new strange creatures to battle. Creating a fleet of interplanetary space platforms that act as the backbone of your interplanetary logistics network.
There are four new worlds to explore each with their own themed experience, these are:
- Vulcanus, a volcanic wasteland, plains of ash but lots of molten iron and copper.
- Fulgora, an electromagnetic storm world, you can harness lightning to power the base.
- Gleba, a slimy swampy landscape with thick air, a fantastic place for agriculture.
- Aqulio, a frozen tundra that the sun's rays don't reach, heat is required for machines to function.
There are also the previously mentioned space platforms to get cargo and yourself between them - by shooting down asteroids and crushing them to build fuel and ammunition for turrets. Across your worlds, there are new quality of life improvements, enemies and of course, the best part, elevated trains!
